We had a nice little warm up task on Day 1 - a 77km bowtie coming back here to the resort. The Moyes boys tore it up coming in first, second and third. It's a giant technorama-fest here!! ;-)
For the first time in the history of the SCFR, we had wind out of the SE and launched from the faaaaaaaar runway coming back toward the resort. It meant a lot of walking for the pilots, but people seemed to manage. The poor launch crew were beat after two and a half hours of getting everyone in the air and barely managed to squeeze in a shower after finishing launch before the fast guys were already arriving back at goal. We made today's task a bit longer to make sure the crew gets some pool time in ;-).
