It never really materialized, but because we expected rain all day, everyone went various directions finding ways to spend the day. There is so much to do in the southwest! Dustin took Kroop and several others on a hike up Picacho Peak. Brian Porter and his crew went to the aviation museum. Bobby and the dragonfliers went on an underground flying tour - of the abandoned copper mine near here. Another giant bunch of us went to the nearest reservation and played silly games at the giant arcade - bowling, hoops and laser tag.
Everyone gathered to watch Steve Morris fly his ornithopter - which look a bit like a bird flying into a 50 knot headwind (Jonny's description).
