Day 1

First day of the US National Championships went off like a breeze today!  The guys (and gal) are out there speeding through the 94km triangle course now.  From the looks of the SPOT trackers (and we will put up a link to the shared SPOT page as soon as it's ready), the lead gaggle has rounded the first turnpoint and they're well on their way back here!

Conditions so far are very typical for the Santa Cruz Flats - light winds, fairly light lift and smooth towing conditions.  The weatherman expects the day to shut down fairly early - 5ish, so hopefully they'll all be in to goal soon!

Here's our nearly all-girl launch crew - just the token male Mike ;-)
